Responsible for providing application-specific customer and sales support. Interacts with product management, engineering, marketing and sales to provide complete product and service solutions.
Technical expert in assigned market niche applications
Identifies prospective customer needs and creates proposals by working with appropriate technical resources as needed
Provides application-specific regional account manager training
Attends and presents at technical conferences and tradeshows
Plans and conducts effective customer presentations as needed
Performs system demonstrations as needed
Performs feasibility tests for prospects and application-specific acceptance tests for customers
Recommends new or enhanced sales tools, marketing activities, products and accessories, market niches, market requirements and pricing strategies
Assist in the development and maintenance of sales and marketing tools and system manuals by providing application-specific technical input
Monitors and communicates competitive activity to their business unit
Supports project engineering with custom content checkout tests
Provide application-specific technical support to customers
Troubleshoot system problems or customer concerns
On occasion, perform system installations and other field service

Skills
Biomedical educational background, preferably biomechanics and tissue engineering
Cell culture, aseptic culture techniques
Materials mechanical testing experience
Peer-reviewed journal publication record
Great attention to details, strong organization and multi-tasking skills
Ability to work on fast-paced, challenging applications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent presentation skills
Strong understanding of fundamental engineering concepts
Professionalism and commitment to quality and customer satisfaction
