Required Skills:
* 2 year technical degree with 5 years Quality Engineering experience (ME or MET preferred)
* Ability to multi-task and coordinate multiple projects at one time
* Must be self-starter requiring little daily input / direction
* Proven ability understanding, reading and interpreting drawings and GD&T
* Highly developed root cause and analytical trouble shooting
* Ability to work with all levels of mgmt in a professional and efficient manner
* Ability to travel to customer plants in U.S. and to other Keihin divisions in U.S. and overseas as needed
* Ability to create and deliver written and verbal presentations to mgmt. skillfully
* Intermediate experience required in MSWord
* Advanced experience required in Windows, Excel, and PowerPoint
* Proven ability to make sound business decisions, exercise good judgment, and be highly motivated
* Basic experience required in Glovia or similar programs
Preferred Skills:
* 3 + years in casting and /or machining manufacturing processes in a quality engineering capacity
* Experience in assembly processes as well as insertion, press-fit, leak testing and molding
* Knowledge of forging, turning and stamping processes
* Knowledge or past working relationship with Honda of America, mfg.
* Working knowledge of SPC as well as general quality documents FMEA & control plans.
