Summary: Develop and implement optimal quality manufacturing processes and methods in accordance with established standards. Recommend and implement improvements. Participate in the launch of new or revised products.
Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and maintain all documentation necessary to support the product manufacturing function.
2. In conjunction with the Production Departments, design for manufacturability production line tooling, fixtures, test equipment and assembly processes for new products during the product design process.
3. In conjunction with Production and Purchasing Departments, coordinate requirements for processes, components and subassemblies supplied through outside vendors.
4. Develop and implement innovative ideas to reduce waste, including analyzing data to identify trends and testing hypotheses.
5. Develop and post work instructions for the manufacturing area and audit compliance to procedures and work instructions.
6. Audit corrective and preventive actions for on-going effectiveness and develop quality plans.
7. Make major contributions to new product development and commercialization.
8. Assist in preparations for external audits and participate as an internal auditor.
9. Develop and monitor control schemes for test and inspection equipment.
10. Develop corrective and preventive actions to address customer complaints.

Salary: Between 65000 - 70000
Experience Required: Experienced, 5 years minimum
