The University of Iowa Department of Physics and Astronomy is looking for an early career electrical engineer capable in designing, building and testing electronics systems for space flight instrumentation. The applicant must have a Bachelor’s or higher degree in electrical engineering and at least 3 years workforce experience in an electrical engineering capacity. The applicant should be proficient in analog and basic digital circuit design, analysis and testing, with either working experience or an understanding of design projects with strong documentation requirements for configuration control. Experience with FPGA design, VHDL and Verilog is desirable.
