Woolpert, Inc. seeks a motivated 5+ years experience Civil Engineering drafter/designer to join our site development team in our Fairview Heights, Illinois office.
Daily responsibilities may include computer aided drafting and design (CADD), grading, drainage, and erosion control design, utility design, and preparing quantities and cost estimates. Responsibilities may also include preparation of engineering calculations, design development, and preparation of reports, recommendations and opinions for approval by a supervising Professional Engineer. The candidate must be able to manage multiple tasks and complete them with minimal supervision, but with strong mentoring and guidance. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. Basic knowledge of PCs and experience with Microsoft Office products including Word and Excel is required. Candidate must be highly motivated, detail-oriented, and possess strong organizational and time management skills. Ideal candidates will have experience in site development design. Proficiency in AutoCAD is required. Experience with Civil 3D is strongly preferred.
