The candidate selected for this position will be responsible forworking with design staff, including team engineers and designers. You will be responsible for coordinating with other disciplines, client contact, and client satisfaction. Our mechanical practice includes HVAC and plumbing design for buildings. The engineer will need to lead the design effort in both of these areas. The engineer is expected to work on several concurrent projects.
Engineer should have knowledge of AutoCAD MEP, Revit is desired. Field knowledge of mechanical systems, familiarity with Trane Trace 700 analysis software, and knowledge and application of sustainable design practices is required.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
Registered Professional Engineer in Virginia/ USA
Experience:
6-8 years experience in Mechanical Engineering
Desirable:
Experience designing large steam boiler and chilled water systems
Experience in designing or specifying fire suppression systems
Other:
Candidate Must Be Eligible to Work in the United States
Candidate Must Have the Ability to Obtain a Security Clearance
