Microsoft Corporation has the following job opportunity: Hardware Engineer (Mechanical Engineer). Design, implement & test computer HW products that add strategic value to the company. Evaluate business requirements & return on investment. Improve the design, development, & overall quality of HW products & development processes. Use existing tools to verify own design before handoff. Identify blocking issues for own projects. Requires domestic & international travel up to 25%. Work Hours: Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm, 40 hrs/wk. Number of Openings: One. Job Site: One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052. Min. Job Reqs: Education: Master’s or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics or related field of education. Education or experience in: Product Development; Mechanical Design; Manufacturing Technologies; Fabrication Processes; CAD; and Material Science. No additional or special requirements.
