Drive arch & design of large-scale, multi-tiered, distributed SW apps, tools, systs & servs using object-oriented design, distributed programming, Java & C/C++. Gather bus & functional req’s from external &/or internal customers & end-users, & translate req’s into tech specs to build robust, scalable, supportable solutions that work well btw range of complex systs. Serve as tech lead throughout full dev’t lifecycle, end-to-end, from scoping, planning, conception, design, implementation & testing, to documentation, delivery & maintenance. Provide design reviews for other engineers, incl feedback on arch & design issues, integration, performance & scalability. Manage resources on multiple tech projects & ensure schedules, milestones, & priorities are compatible w/ tech & bus goals. 8am-5pm, Mon-Fri. Multiple Openings Available (5). Cupertino, CA. Master's or foreign equiv in CS, Comp or Elecl Engg, Math, or a rel field & 2yrs exp in job offered / SW Engineer, SW Developer, or rel occ. Employer will accept Bachelor's or foreign equiv in CS, Comp or Elecl Engg, Math, or a rel field & 5yrs exp in job offered or a rel occ as equiv to Master's & 2yrs exp. 2yrs exp in job offered or a rel occ must involve: providing tech leadership & project mgmt for all aspects of SW dev’t lifecycle; & designing & developing large-scale, multi-tiered, distributed SW apps, tools, systs or servs using Object Oriented Design; distributed programming; & C#, C++ or Java.
