Analog Hardware Development Engineer - MI
Summary
This employer is a well-known developer and supplier of vehicle safety systems. They're currently looking for an Analog Hardware Development Engineer to develop core control electronics for next generation passive safety products. You'll be developing the hardware that will be adapted into a variety of global automotive systems. It will involve circuit analysis, simulation and design, primarily of analog electronics (op amps, power supplies, transistors, etc.), though you'll also work with some digital hardware. You'll work through the full development life-cycle, touching on all aspects of the design right into release. Other responsibilities include:
Schematic capture and circuit analysis using different methods like worst case, etc
Interface with ECAD for circuit board layout, considering designing rules.
Control and release Electrical BOM.
Interface with EMC activities and ensure compliance and customer approval.
Collaborate with product assurance team to create test specifications.

Qualifications
BSEE and 3+ years of experience in circuit-level electronic hardware design.
A background in automotive is preferred, but they'll also consider other industries, such as test equipment and aerospace.
In-depth analog circuit design skills, including good knowledge of op-amps, power supplies, and other related areas.
Experiences with electronics design tools like Circuit Simulator, CAD, power supply, logic analyzers, signal generators, scopes etc is required.
Well versed with Quality Management Systems, Circuit Development and FMEA processes.
Solid communication skills.

Salary Range: $75,000/year- $105,000 (Aligned with knowledge and experience)
