Position Description:
The Product Section Engineer's primary responsibility is to assist the Lead Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the management of assigned product sections and their committees. Duties include conducting product section meetings, conducting Engineering and Compliance Committee and Subcommittee meetings, and communicating with member companies and the HVAC/R industry, and development of standards.
Specific duties include but are not limited to the following:
• Represent AHRI at each meeting to keep members abreast of current AHRI rules, guidelines, and past precedence
• Discuss needs with members; establish programs to meet those needs.
• Recognize interest in, and determine need for, the development of a new standard.
Primary Skills: - HVACR expertise
-knowledge of ASHRAE and ISO standards and committees

Salary: Between 65000 - 95000
Experience Required: Some Experience, 3 years minimum
Clearance Level: 0
Travel: 5 %
