Woolpert, Inc, a top design, engineering, and geospatial firm seeks an experienced Proposal Coordinator to become a member of our dynamic Proposal Team. Woolpert’s Proposal Coordinators work collectively with the Proposal Managers to support the process of creating cohesive proposals. The Proposal Coordinator is responsible for supporting the proposal process to include the creation, organization, development and production of proposals and other formally requested customer and/or market-initiated information to professionally position Woolpert. They will not only support but be included in the creation of winning proposals.
Woolpert, Inc. seeks a motivated Civil Engineer/Phase Manager to join our growing site development team in our Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois office.
The qualified candidate will be required to fully understand and apply standards and specifications to design and produce engineering drawings and documents for, primarily, land development projects. The selected candidate will be responsible to effectively communicate with internal as well as external team members (Permitting Agencies, Clients, etc.) when managing projects while assuring Quality Control standards are met. Work to be completed will include the design of pavement, watermain systems, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, stormwater management systems, roadways, grading/earthwork, erosion control and stormwater pollution prevention plans. Other essential duties and responsibilities may include monitoring project budgets, correspondence with permitting agencies such as IDOT, MWRD, County and Municipality, preparation of cost estimates, and mentoring of junior engineers. Regular attendance at client meetings and site visits may be required.
Qualified candidates will have graduated from an accredited college or university with a BS in Civil Engineering and possess an Illinois Professional Engineer’s License. The qualified candidate must also have 8 years or more of experience in site design and local permitting. They must also be proficient in AutoCAD, be detail oriented, flexible, and possess strong communication skills. Experience with project management and proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus.
