We are hiring a Quality Engineer II for our Fort Mill, SC facility.
• Research the applicable in-country agency standards for sustaining and new product development of Mobility products; clearly communicate the requirements to design and sustaining project engineering and management.
• Establish relationships with accredited test laboratories in the US and other countries by maintaining constant communication with individuals in various test departments such as EMC and UL engineers. .
• Create and maintain detailed records for each project outlining all applicable tests and documentation requirements for every country requested in project/product MRD.
• Schedule testing dates with selected labs maintaining communication on active testing to time line completion.
• Support outsource partners by resolving the issues that impact product certification as well as being the responsible individual to sign authorization and Declaration of Conformity letters for agency submittal.
• Manage Roles and Responsibility as they pertain to the regulatory compliance portion of the project.
• Support global outsource partners to resolve their related compliance questions and issues via e-mails and conference calls.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering with emphasis on Electronic/RF Communication.
• 2 years experience in RF design including radio transmitters and small antennas.
Additional Qualifications:
• Experience in high frequency Printed Circuit Board design and simulation.
• Good communication and people skills with compliance team’s world-wide.
• This position requires a very task oriented and organized personality who can keep up with its complex and dynamic nature and be able to handle several projects at one time.
• Prior Project management experience helpful.
• Self starter.
• Ability to work in a global team environment.
