Electrical Engineer with strong background in electrical power generation and plant facilities design for utility, institutional and industrial clients, specifically central plants and campus infrastructure. Will be expected to perform design duties with minimal supervision. Specific duties will include design and layout of medium and low voltage switchgear and motor control centers, diesel generators and cogeneration, computer modeling/analysis of electrical systems, equipment specification and procurement, protective relaying design, and design of schematic and wiring diagrams. Design experience with building systems such as lighting, convenience power, and communications a plus. Candidate will be expected to lead and mentor less experienced engineers and designers through the design process. Candidate should be familiar with Microsoft Office. Candidate should have experience meeting with clients and supporting marketing proposals/efforts. Candidate should have experience managing a design budget and schedule, and be able to demonstrate proficiency in these areas. Field assignments during construction and/or start up activities a plus, but not required. Project management experience and LEED certification a plus, but also not required.
