In this position, you will act as a Senior Electrical Engineer on higher education, institutional, healthcare, utility plant and industrial projects. This position will lead design efforts and some project management tasks. Technical responsibilities include:
• design and layout of medium and low voltage switchgear and motor control centers, diesel generators and cogeneration
• computer modeling/analysis of electrical systems (ETAP or SKM)
• equipment specification and procurement
• protective relaying design
• design of schematic and wiring diagrams
• serving as a technical liaison
• coordinating technical efforts
• budget and schedule management
Project Management tasks include:
• coordination of project planning
• preparation of reports, studies, cost analysis and equipment selection
• preparation of owner's engineer services, detailed systems design and plant layout
• leading designers and junior engineers through the design process
