Manager / Architect: Virtual Desktop Infrastructure Management System
Responsibilities:
•Provide the Architectural and Design leadership for Pano’s virtual desktop infrastructure management system
•interfacing with VMware vSphere, XenDesktop and Microsoft Hyper-V Virtualization Infrastructure
•Drive the implementation from architecture to released product while ensuring enterprise class quality, scalability, responsiveness, and usability
•Management of software development projects across local and offshore teams
Requirements:
•10+ years experience in Java, C++ and C programming in Linux and Windows environments
•5+ years design and development of enterprise class tools for management and monitoring of Datacenter Infrastructure and/or Networking
•BSCS required, MS or higher a plus
•Deep experience with Datacenter Virtualization with expertise in at least one of VMware, Citrix, or Microsoft Hyper-V
•Prior experience with Desktop Virtualization a strong plus
•Strong analytical and software design skills
•Experienced in development of Web/Desktop user interfaces as well as backend servers
•Knowledge and experience in design for application scalability and high availability
•Minimum 3 – 5 years Project leadership and/or technical management experience
•Prior experience with offshore teams highly desired
Primary Skills:
10+ years experience in Java, C++ and C programming in Linux and Windows environments
