We are currently recruiting for an Advanced Technology Engineer Dispensers.
POSITION SUMMARY
Lead the identification, selection, and development of new technologies for next generation dispenser products. Develop and maintain a summary of technologies and trends relevant to dispensers. Define potential new technologies and lead their development through proof-of-concept so that they are ready for execution in new product development projects. Create business opportunities by anticipating problems and defining innovative solutions for them. Support the dispenser IP strategy with invention disclosures and patent applications for relevant technologies and their use in dispensers.
This position reports to the Director, Research and Development Dispensers and is located in Neenah, Wisconsin.
EDUCATION
Bachelors or higher degree in engineering or science.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Ten or more years of increasing research and development experience in technology or product development.
Experience delivering commercially-viable technology solutions to business teams.
KNOWLEDGE - SKILLS - ABILITIES
Demonstrated ability to act as an entrepreneur to effectively use critical thinking and judge appropriate risks to deliver maximum value to the company.
Demonstrated ability to anticipate and understand customer needs and translate those needs into profitable products.
Analytical thinking to find and develop links between technology and dispenser products.
Outstanding communication ability to inform and persuade both technical and non-technical people and explain the benefits and risks of technology and the effort required to develop it.
Ability to work independently given vision and direction.
Six sigma or statistical methods training and skills are preferred.
Available to travel up to 30%, including occasional international travel.
