We are an exciting start-up company seeking a Senior Research Engineer. We welcome applicants with expertise in thin film deposition, characterization, patterning and integration. Experience with fabricating and characterizing new materials, particularly complex metal oxide materials, is of particular interest. Knowledge of solid state physics is a big positive.
Candidates with extensive hands-on experience with MBE deposition of oxide materials will be given special and prioritized consideration.
As the successful applicant, you will work with a team of dynamic engineers and scientists inside and outside of the company to design, fabricate, characterize, and test target materials. You should have experience relating a material's composition, atomic structure, and microstructure to its physical, chemical, electrical, and magnetic properties.
Please apply if you are a self-motivated, self-directed person who will develop your own projects and help drive multi-site, multi-engineer team projects that accelerate the development of target materials.
You will also have the opportunity to contribute to building our intellectual property portfolio.
You will report to the Vice President, Materials and Process Development.
