Job Description
We are seeking a Software Validation Test Engineer with strong communication skills and technical aptitude to join our team at our Hesston, Kansas location. Our Hesston location is our largest manufacturing facility in North America. Hesston manufactures our Massey Ferguson brand. It is one of the world’s leading tractor brands, offering one of the most complete lines of agricultural tractors in the industry. Extending from ruggedly simple to high-specification tractors, Massey Ferguson’s product line also includes vineyard, fruit, utility and compact tractors for demanding specialist applications. Massey Ferguson is also a force in the global harvesting business.
As the Software Test Validation Engineer, you will serve as an embedded systems test engineer for testing of software based vehicle electronic systems. You will developing test plans, procedures and perform verification and validation testing on various agricultural vehicle platforms. You will also conduct diagnostic testing and root cause analysis, as well as, assist in developing automated testing capabilities which include; developing software applications, testing and verifying the applications.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
•Prepare test plans and procedures from system requirements documents.
•Analyze requirements for testability.
•Develop and maintain test cases as requirements evolve.
•Perform dry run testing to verify test cases.
•Participate in test peer reviews and test readiness reviews
•Perform formal verification testing.
•Perform root cause analysis to diagnose problems
•Work with developers to debug issues
•Generate test reports.
•Analyze test results.

Salary: Between $46,000 - $77,559
