Position Summary:
This position is responsibile for developing and qualifying new die Suppliers/Parts that meet KNA/Honda requirements
.
Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Skills):
4 year College Degree in Engineering or related discipline or 2 year degree with years Automotive Quality Experience
Minimum of 1 year of hands-on measurement/data acquisition along with test set-up and execution utilizing specialized equipment
Knowledge of injection molding and related die development activities
Basic experience required in MS Word,
Intermediate experience required in Windows, MS Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Skills):
ASQ certification; ability to program and operate various coordinate measuring machines
Position Duties and Responsibilities (Included but not limited to):
Support selection and development of local die makers
Identify critical die/part requirements, communicate to team and supplier
Monitor supplier performance (die, part, fit-function) and communicate results to team/supplier
Lead overall part quality evaluations (measurements, function testing, correlation data)
Measurement of trial/prototype parts (CMM, various hand tools)
Develop and implement procedures for die tuning with coordination between KNA and suppliers
Primary Skills: Hands on measurement/data acquisition; Knowledge of injection molding and related die development activities; Computer Software
Salary: Between Neg - Neg
Experience Required: Experienced, 4 years minimum

Travel: 25 %
